Tantalizing Tuesday!
Hello my Curlfriends!
So as a law I always put the Ingredient of the Day on my Facebook page TrulyNaturallyCoiled so I have decided to bring that here so you can get your dose here as well!
Ingredient of the Day: Black Seed Oil!
Studies have shown that black seed oil is an effective anti-oxidant, anti-bacterial, and anti-inflammatory remedy. As a result, it is often used to fight infections and strengthen the immune system, which is suitable for treating the following conditions:
•headaches
... •toothaches
•nasal congestion
•colds and flus
•digestive and gastrointestinal problems
•hair and skin problems
•allergies
•diabetes
Studies have shown that Black Seed Oil can help eliminate sleep disorders. Simply mix a teaspoon of black seed oil into a hot drink one hour before bed time for a good night's sleep.
Black seed oil has also been found to be effective at promoting menstruation and increasing milk production. For most ailments, the recommended daily dosage is one teaspoon of black seed oil per day. The oil can be mixed in warm or cold drinks, or it can be added on top of many foods right before consuming. It can also be used topically as a chest rub for respiratory problems.
Hope you've learned something today! Muah Babies!

So lets talk Moisture!
I always get the question, "what made me start my line" well one of the key components was trying to keep my hair moisturized and hydrated. So Ive been on my natural journey for almost 3 years this coming August. I can tell you that there are things that I have tried, and some things have been unsuccessful, some more successful than others. But it was fun trying out different products and learning my hair.
So in steps the MoistureMax HairMasque, OOH JESUS! I let this sit on my hair for over and hour and the love that my hair was shown that day definitely deserved a hero cookie. Lol! Usually once you rinse your hair the benefits go down the drain with the water. But at last! This did not happen. My hair was just as soft, moisturized and detangled as it was when I added the mask to it. Even the driest part of my hair (the middle) was super moist and I finger detangled, my hair felt like butta!
Along this journey, I have learned that you definitely have to keep it simple, but for my I like to throw some extras in when I can. Moisture has always been the center of my hair care regimen. I have started to spray my scalp with water first and then my hair. Making sure my whole head gets some love!
If you want to read more about the Masque or to offer your support ( <3 ) visit my site www.wix.com/honeychilehairlove/1

The Benefits of Aloe Vera Gel
Oh, the wonderful things that pure aloe vera gel can be used for. For years, I knew that the gel from the aloe vera plant was a good healing agent when applied to burns, scrapes and wounds. But I have come to learn just how much more I could use aloe vera gel for, and here, I will share some of these uses and benefits.
TRY ALOE ON THE SCALP AND HAIR
Applying aloe vera gel to the scalp is a good treatment for dandruff, seborrhea (dermatitis), psoriasis and hair loss that has resulted from these conditions.
Use the gel from an aloe vera plant to substitute your commercial hair gel; rub or comb small amounts through your hair and style as usual.
Aloe gel is believed to provide relief from stomach disorders, kidney ailments, and headaches, just to name a few of aloe's internal healing benefits.
Using the yellow juice, called latex found just beneath the surface of the leaves can serve as a powerful laxative.
The gel from aloe vera also contains magnesium lactate that serves as an antihistamine, which may help to relieve sinus and chest inflammations caused by allergies.
Because aloe can have a strong laxative affect do not ingest the yellow latex found in the skin of the leaf or be cautious of the amount taken as a laxative. It is best to ingest aloe by gently blending the gel, taken from between the leafs, in a blender with juice or water.
So whats my verdict? I use it often and will continue too! I love it as a natural moisturizer, but only get the pure kind, not the bottled kind with the preservatives.

Ok ladies so lets talk the real!
So we all suffer from winter dryness with our hair, so let me tell you some of the things that I have been doing to combat the dryness and save my hair!
I spritz my hair daily with plain water. The best moisturizer in the world!
I then add some of my Sweet Hibiscus Cream Conditioner and work that into my hair.
Then I seal with a little castor oil or olive oil.
Thats it! My hair ends up being soft, moisturized, hydrated and delectable!
